Father, in JESUS’ name, I embrace the truth of YOUR Word and I commit to change whatever needs to be changed in my life in order to bring into captivity every thought into the obedience of CHRIST. I am a mighty man of valor and my wife is a virtuous woman. I have found your pattern for me in YOUR SON JESUS. I set my heart to love my wife as He loves HIS church.

The light of YOUR Word shines on my path. I love my wife as Christ loves the Church and give myself for her. My heart safely trusts my wife. She is good for me. She is good to me. I place a high value on her preciousness to me. As her husband, I am spiritually focused, emotionally strong, intellectually capable, domestically balanced, economically sharp, and have unquestionable character.

I commit to make restitution for any damage I have caused my wife through deep rooted misguided expectations. I help her develop as a person, and let her help me. I shine on her as the sun shines on the earth. I am the rule of her life to bring her warmth, nurture, protection and security.

Because of the joy it will bring to both of us, I gladly drink of the cup that was prepared before we married. I will gladly bear the cross of our relationship, allowing my wife to be herself. I die to the things that are killing our relationship. We experience a new creation marriage where old things are passed away and all things are become new.

In Jesus Name – Amen!

Father, I embrace the truth of you word and I commit to change whatever displeases you in my life. I resist the temptation to cast blame or condemnation on the man that you’ve allowed to find me choosing instead to build him up and stand in the gap for all of his needs, both in body and spirit.

It is my desire to please my husband and honor him in word and deed. I embrace myself in the covering of his wisdom resisting the temptation to doubt his motives or his love. I willing and joyfully allow your spirit to empower me to love him in the way that he desires placing his needs above my own.

I commit to walking in forgiveness releasing him from any harm done to me, freeing our love to grown and express itself passionately, unselfishly and free from retaliation. I honor our relationship by engaging in respectful, honest, transparent communication.

I am excited to be in his presence, pleased by the warmth of his touch and delighted over the passion he has for me.
I appreciate the gift he is to our family and to the world. I commit to celebrate his strengths, enhance him in the areas where he is weak and stand in the gap where he lay exposed.

I fearlessly declare him my Lord, freely enjoy him as my lover and faithfully walk alongside him as a friend.
